About Me
My name is Jeannette, and I am a US Navy veteran who retired in 2017, after 15 years of service. In 2011, I was injured and suffered a life-altering traumatic brain injury. Since then, I've found crafting was not only therapeutic for me and a crucial part of my healing journey, but I also found a passion within it.
After medically retiring from the military, I went back to school at the University of Illinois to study Kinesiology- and began to find a new interest within Herbology. In 2019, I decided to fully dive into learning more about my spirituality and have since spent my time educating myself and building a path that began to inspire me! I started building my collection of crystals, wire wrapping, and then started making my own candles. By combining my two newly founded passions: crafting and magick, in 2020, Primtensions was born!
So, what does Primtensions stand for?
Primrose and Intentions.
Primroses are one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring signifying youth longevity, new beginnings, love, and can represent women and femininity. They also represent the variety of stages in life from birth to death. I believe that no matter what stage of life we are in, new beginnings and love are always possible! Primroses are also associated with the Norse goddess Freya, who is the goddess of love. I was drawn to the words prim and primrose, and I knew that I wanted my business and art to be led by intuition and built with intentions!
